The incredible Femke Bol made an outstanding final in the 4x400m medley relay to bring the Netherlands the Olympic title in Paris. Eugene Omalla, Lieke Klaver, Isaya Klein Ikkink, and Femke Bol triumphed in the mixed relay with a new European record of 3:07.43 min, with only the rain preventing the Dutch from correcting the world record in the discipline as well.
Femke Bol took the baton from fourth position, but after an incredible run, the world indoor 400m record holder led her compatriots to the gold medals.
The Americans, who in the series recorded the top achievement of the planet for all time, remained with the silver medals with 3:07.74 min.
The British team set a new national record of 3:08.01 min for the bronze honors.
