World and European 400m silver medalist from Budapest 2023 and Munich 2022 and Olympic champion with the Poland’s mixed relay Natalia Kaczmarek made an excellent run at the 63rd Ostrava Golden Spike tournament. The 26-year-old Polish athlete won with a time of 50.09 sec and showed excellent form just days before the Rome European Athletics Championships (June 7-12).

The silver went to the Czech athlete Lurdes Gloria Manuel, who made an excellent run, but delayed half a second from the winner. However, the Jerusalem 2023 European Under-20 girls’ champion broke the Czech national record for the age group after finishing second in 50.59 sec. With this result, she also met the standard for participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The third place and bronze medal was taken by Andrea Miklos (Romania), who clocked at 50.76 seconds.
The Top 5 was completed by the Czech representatives Lada Vondrova and Barbora Malikova, finishing in 51.26 sec and 51.45 sec, respectively.
