The European pole vault champion Angelica Moser (Switzerland) earned the gold in the event at the Marrakech Diamond League. The Swiss athlete cleared the 4.73m mark to win the the event, overtaking the Italian competitors Roberta Bruni and Elisa Molinarolo, who cleared 4.65m and 4.55m, respectively and remained with the silver and the bronze.
The Rio 2016 Olympic and 2017 London world champion Aikaterini Stefanidi (Greece) remained 4th with 4.55m, while Alix Dehaynain (France) was 5th with 4.45m.
Angelica Moser is a Swiss athlete whose specialty is pole vaulting. She won the 2021 European Championships in Torunń and reached the final of the World Championships in Doha in 2019. Her personal bests in the event are 4.75m outdoors (Budapest 2023) and 4.75m indoors (Torun 2021). She is also Youth Olympic Games and World U20 Champion.
