Two-time world 200m champion Shericka Jackson (Jamaica) withdrew from the Suzhou Diamond League on April 27. There, the Jamaican sprinter had to start at 200m.
A week earlier, she refused to start at the tournament in Miramar, and in March she also missed a competition in her homeland.
World 100m champion Sha’Carri Richardson (USA) is still on the entry list at the Suzhou Diamond League.
Their last race was at the world championships in Budapest in August. Shericka Jackson won gold, setting a Jamaican record for the 200m, running the second-fastest time in history. Sha’Carri Richardson took bronze, with her American teammate Gabrielle Thomas winning silver.
Shericka Jackson took gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the 4x100m relay, in addition to her silver in the Rio 2016 4x400m relay, and three bronze medals.
