Franziska Preuss is set to return to the German biathlon team and compete in the World Cup events in Switzerland later this week. The German biathlete has recovered after recovering from the coronavirus.
“My plan is to compete in the sprint on Thursday. I hope that I will feel physically better with each passing day and I will be full of energy. It was difficult for me to accept the situation, but I am trying to stay calm and I want to performing well during the races”, said the 29-year-old Franziska Preuss, who is no longer top of the overall World Cup standings after missing starts in Austria last week.
The German ended last season prematurely in January. She returned to start the current campaign in remarkable fashion, topping the World Cup rankings.
