The Croatians remained in the second position with 3 points, and third with the same assets is Senegal, who managed to beat China with 22-15.

European runner-up Denmark also continued without a mistake after 39-23 against Romania in Herning. Kristina Jorgensen scored 10 goals for the 1997 world champions.

The Romanian women remained second in Group E with 4 points, and Serbia took the third place with 2 points after success over Chile with 30-16 (10:6). The first three teams from each group reached the second phase of the competition, and the results between the teams have been preserved so far.
