Celin Bizet Ildhusoy is a Norwegian footballer, who plays as a forward for the Women’s Super League club Tottenham Hotspur Women and the Norway national team. She is Norwegian Toppserien Women champion and French Division 1 Women runner-up.
Celin Bizet Ildhusoy was born on October 24, 2001, in Frogner i Sorum, Norway. She is the daughter of a former Norwegian footballer, Kjell Gunnar Ildhusoy, and a Cuban mother. She started in football at an early age and quickly showed her great talent. She played for the youth teams Frogner and Skedsmo.
Celin Bizet Ildhusoy turned professional in 2016, debuting for the Norwegian football club Skedsmo. Ahead of the 2017 season, she transferred to Valerenga Fotball Damer, where she made her Toppserien Women debut. Celin Bizet Ildhusoy played in the Norwegian football club for five seasons, appearing in 75 matches and scoring 11 goals with 4 assistances. Celin Bizet Ildhusoy became Toppserien Women champion with Valerenga Fotball Damer in 2020, but also earned the silver in 2019, won the Norway Cup Women in 2020 and 2021, and played in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Celin Bizet Ildhusoy was called for the Norway U19 women’s national football team to play in the Euro U19 Women, where was a starting player in all three matches, finished the first two, but was replaced early in the third. Unfortunately, Norway U19 women’s national football team finished third in the groups and did not qualify for the semi-finals.
On July 16, 2021, Celin Bizet Ildhusoy was transferred to Paris Saint-Germain Feminine. She played in the team for only one season, but her team earned the silver at the French Division 1 Women and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League. She played in a total of 8 matches, 2 of which were in the Champions League, making two assistances in the 6-0 visitors’ win versus Zhytlobud-1 Women.
In 2021, she was called for Norway U23 national women’s football team, scoring twice in friendly matches.
On August 10, 2022, ahead of the 2022/2023 campaign, Celin Bizet Ildhusoy made another transfer from Paris Saint-Germain Feminine to Tottenham Hotspur Women to play in the England Women’s Super League. In her maiden season with Tottenham Hotspur Womenshe played 22 matches in the England Women’s Super League, recording 2 goals and 1 assist, 3 matches in the Women’s League Cup, and 2 matches in the Women’s FA Cup.
She was called for the Norwegian senior women’s national team to play at the Euro Women 2022 qualifications and tournament, being one of the key players, but the team finished third in the group.
In the 2023/2024 season, Celin Bizet Ildhusoy positioned herself as one of the top players of Tottenham Hotspur Women and was in the starting squad in every match. With the national team, she also played at the World Cup Women 2023 qualifications and UEFA Nations League Women.
