Storm Hunter defeated Anna Danilina by 2-0 (7:6, 6:4) in 2:08 hours of play and gave an advance to the Australian team, but in the second match from the clash, Yulia Putintseva equalized after a victory versus Kimberly Birrell by 2-0 (6:0, 7:5) in 1:28 hours.
Thus, all was to be solved by the doubles, where Storm Hunter and Ellen Perez won the match versus Yulia Putintseva and Anna Danilina by 2-1 (6:1, 4:6, 10:5).
