The third-seeded Marie Bouzkova (Czech republic) qualified for the quarter-finals of the WTA 250 Jiangxi Open after defeating Amina Anshba (Russia) by 2-0 (7:5, 6:0) in 1:30 hours of play.
The Czech tennis player faced some problems in the first set, although she took a lead of 4:1. Amina Anshba equalized the score to 4:4, but the nerves of Marie Bouzkova proved to be stronger and she achieved another break to close the set at 7:5. In the second set, she had problems on the first game, saving three breakpoints before taking the full control of the play and did not gave a single game to her opponent.
In the quarter-finals, Marie Bouzkova will face Camila Osorio (Colombia), who eliminated the 8th-seeded Sara Sorribes Tormo (Spain) by 2-0 (6:4, 7:5).
Nao Hibino (japan) also continue with her strong performance in the tournament and advanced to the quarter-finals after defeating Kimberly Birrell (Australia) by 2-0 (6:3, 7:5).
The Russian tennis player Diana Shnaider advanced in the tournament after retiring of her opponent and compatriot Vera Zvonareva in the second set at result 1-0 due to injury.
