Liverpool FC Women defeated Aston Villa WFC at the English Women’s Super League

Liverpool FC Women recorded a home win versus Aston Villa WFC by 2-0 (1-0), achieving a second victory in the English Women’s Super League and keeping their full asset of points.

Marie Therese Hobinger gave advance for Liverpool FC Women in the 21st minute and Jane Natasha Flint scored for 2-0 after an assistance of Melissa Lawley in 77th minute to form the final score, although the match was quite equal. Brighton & Hove Albion WFC lost to West Ham United Women by 0-2 (0-1) after the goals of Kirsty Smith (12′) and Riko Ueki (52′). Manchester United WFC and Arsenal WFC made a 2-2 draw. Leah Galton (27′) and Melvine Malard (81′) scored for Manchester United WFC and Stina Blackstenius (14′) and Cloe Lacasse (90+3′) being accurate for Arsenal WFC.
