Czech tennis talent Linda Fruhvirtova qualified for the quarter-finals of the WTA 250 Ningbo Open with a prize pool of 259,303 USD. The Czech player defeated the fourth-seeded Anna Blinkova (Russia) by 2-1 (6:3, 3:6, 6:1) in 2:15 hours of play.
The match started equally with both players winning their serve game, but the nerves of the 18-years-old Linda Fruhvirtova were stronger and she waited for her chance in the 8th game to make a break and this proved to be enough to win the first set by 6:3.
