Dorka Juhasz is a Hungarian basketball player, who plays for the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA.
Dorka Juhasz was born on December 18, 1999, in Pecs, Hungary. She started in basketball at the local club and school, where she showed great talent and proved to be one of the biggest talents of Hungarian basketball.
Dorka Juhasz attended Ohio State University, where committed to playing college basketball in March 2018. She was rated as the 12th-best international player from the 2018 class and the 5th-best forward. Dorka Juhasz played for Ohio State for three seasons, as in the 2020/2021 season had 17 games players and averaged 14.6 pts per game, 11.1 rebs per game, and 1.1 asts per game.
In 2021 she entered herself into the transfer portal. Dorka Juhasz stated that the desire to continue to improve as a player, as well as her aspirations to play at the professional level as the key reasons why she ultimately decided it was her time to leave the Ohio State Buckeyes. After a week in the portal, she announced that she would be transferred to the UConn Huskies.
For UConn Huskies Dorka Juhasz played for two seasons, winning twice the East Conference Championships. In her maiden season, she played 32 games and averaged 7.3 pts per game, 5.7 rebs per game, and 1.7 asts per game. In the 2022/2023 season, she appeared in 29 games, averaging 14.2 pts per game, 9.9 rebs per game, and 3.2 asts per game.
In 2023, Dorka Juhasz was picked by the Minnesota Lynx in the second round of the WNBA Draft as the 16th overall pick. She made her WNBA debut on May 19, 2023, when the Lynx played the Chicago Sky. She scored 5 points and got 3 rebounds in 15 minutes.
