The second-seeded Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) advanced to the fourth round of the US Open after defeating Clara Burel (France) by 2-0 (6:1, 6:1) in an hour of play.

Qinwen Zheng (China) eliminated Lucia Bronzetti (Italy) by 2-1 (6:3, 4:6, 6:4) and also advanced ahead at the US Open 2023.
