The women of Alianza Lima (Peru) won their last match from the group stage Tomayapo (Bolivia) by 5:0 and thus took second place in Group C. The goals for Alianza Lima (Peru) scored Gladys Dorador (8′), Bonilla (34′), Tristan (34′), Vilca (70′) and Reyes (84′). The total dominance of the Peruvian team in the match started from the very first minute and the victory was absolutely deserved.
The leader in Group C was Deportivo Cali (Colombia) with 9 points, who also qualifies for the quarterfinals.
The players of Club Nacional de Football (Uruguay) won by 2:0 versus San Lorenzo (Argentina) after goals of Yamila Badell (69′) and Esperanza Pizarro (70′). After the win, the Uruguayans had 6 points in Group D and qualified for the quarterfinals. The leader in the group Corinthians (Brazil).
