The champion in the combination of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang Michelle Gisin will not participate in the parallel competition of the Alpine Ski World Cup in the Austrian winter center Lech Zuers on November 13 (Saturday).
The Swiss alpine skier Michelle Gisin is recovering from the flu and will miss the start to be fully prepared for the first two slaloms of the season in Levi (Finland) on November 20th and 21st.
Another leading Swiss alpine skier, Wendy Holdener, also will miss the Lech Zuers race. The two-time world champion in the combination and Olympic runner-up in slalom from Pyeongchang 2018, Wendy Holdener, resumed training in the snow after a fractured arm and is expected to return to the track in Levi.
As it is known, the winner of the World Cup Petra Vlhova (Slovakia) and the American star Mikaela Shiffrin also announced that they will not compete on Saturday, and the bronze medalist in the parallel disciplines of the World Championship in Cortina D’Ampezzo 2021 Tessa Worley (France), as well as the Italians Federica Brignone and Sofia Goggia.
