The Swiss tennis player had just one career title before her appearance at the Jiangxi Open, which she won in 2016 in Gstaad, defeating Kiki Bertens.
The WTA 250 Jiangxi Open final match started strongly for Viktorija Golubic, who made an early break and quickly took a 2:0 lead. She managed to finish the first set at 6:3 after a second break in the ninth game.
