Top-seeded Ons Jabeur qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA 250 Ningbo Open

The top-seeded Ons Jabeur (Tunis) qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA 250 Ningbo Open. The Tunisian tennis player defeated Tamara Korpatsch (Germany) by 2-0 (6:3, 6:2) in 1:24 hours of play.

Ons Jabeur recorded two break in the first set and did not give a single breakpoint to her opponent. The second set was not much different, as the Tunisian kept the control from the very first minute to the end. She made two break and saved two breakpoint to win the match.

In the semi-finals, Ons Jabeur will face the winner between Katerina Siniakova (Czech Republic) and Nadia Podoroska (Argentina).

The Czech teenage talent Linda Fruhvirtova also continue with her great performance at the WTA 250 Ningbo Open and qualified for the semi-finals after defeating the 8th-seeded Lucia Bronzetti (Italy) by 2-0 (6:0, 6:3) in only 77 minutes of play.

The last quarter-final between the 2nd-seeded Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic) and the Russian teenager Diana Shnaider will determine the last semi-finals.
