The captain of the United States volleyball team, which is the new US Olympic champion, Jordan Larson was named the most valuable player (MVP) at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The 34-year-old volleyball player also won the award for the best receiver.
The Americans collected four more individual awards – for best setter, a best second receiver, best second center, and best libero.
The silver and bronze medalists – Brazil and Serbia – won one individual award each. Here’s what the Ideal Team looks like at the Tokyo Olympics:
