The first set was running equal with breaks with both players losing total of 5 breakpoints. However, the set ran into a tiebreak, which Elena Rybakina won by 7-1.
The second set started in a similar way, but in the 6th game Donna Vekic got three breakpoints and succeeded to win the last one to break her opponent and take a lead of 4:2. Thus proved to be enough for her to win the set by 6:3.
