Tamari Davis won the 100m gold at the Gala dei Castelli 2024 in Bellinzona

Tamari Davis (USA) won the 100m gold at the Gala dei Castelli 2024 in Bellinzona after clocking at 10.97 sec, beating the home star Mujinga Kambundji, who finished in 11.14 sec. Another American athlete Candace Hill earned the bronze, finishing in 11.21 sec.

The Top 5 in the 100m event were completed by two more American athletes – Anavia Battle and Celera Barnes, who finished in 11.24 sec and 11.25 sec, respectively.

Meanwhile, Anavia Battle (USA) won the 200m event, finishing in 22.58 sec. Mujinga Kambundji (Swtizerland) finished second, clocking at 22.69 sec, and again missed the gold. The bronze went to Julia Henriksson (Sweden), who finished 0.32 sec behind the winner.

In 400m event at the the Gala dei Castelli 2024 in Bellinzona, Sharlene Mawdsley (Ireland) won the 400m gold after clocking at 51.35 sec. The Irish athlete overtook Susanne Gogl-Walli (Austria) by only 0.04 sec. The bronze went to Lieke Klaver (Netherlands), who finished in 51.42 sec.
