Sha’Carri Richardson ran 100m in 10.57 sec

Abby Steiner and Sha’Carri Richardson recorded impressive wins at the World Athletics Tour Silver Label event in Florida.

Sha’Carri Richardson achieved the fourth fastest 100m time of all time under any conditions, finishing in 10.57 sec (4.1 m/s). Twanisha Terry finished second in 10.83 sec.

Abby Steiner, on the other hand, won his first 200m race of the year with the wind within the permissible limit, after winning in 22.23 sec (1.8m/s). Tamari Davis achieved a personal best of 22.31 sec.

Christian Coleman beat U20 world record holder Lezile Tebogo by 3 thousandths after both clocked exactly 20.00s (1.9m/s). Olympic and world silver medalist Kenny Bednarek was third in 20.37 seconds.

2015 World 400m silver medalist Shamier Little won the 400m in 50.73 sec

Angela Wilson opened the season in the 800m with 2:02.95 min, while ToneaMarshall was the fastest in the 100m hurdles with 12.62 sec (2.2 m/sec). Danniel Thomas-Dodd recorded victory in the women’s shot put with 18.48m.
