Paris 2024 Olympic champions Nina Kennedy and Masai Russell will be in action at the Zurich Diamond League on September 5. The gold medalists in the women’s pole vault and 100m hurdles will look to secure their place in the final tournament in Brussels.

Australian star Nina Kennedy will face the other two Paris medalists Katie Moon and Alysha Newman in the sector, with the pole vault event taking place at Zurich Central Station on September 5.

And while Nina Kennedy is a near-certain finalist in the Diamond League, Masai Russell need valuable points in Zurich to ensure she will be in contention for the trophy.

In Zurich, Masai Russell, who is currently fifth in the 100m hurdles in the battle for the Diamond League final, will face the other two Paris medalists Cyrena Samba-Mayela and Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, as well as former world record holder Kendra Harrison and current world champion Danielle Williams.
