Ons Jabeur: A third consecutive Wimbledon final would be a dream come true

Ons Jabeur (Tunisia) said that it will be a dream come true for her if she manages to reach a third consecutive Wimbledon final.

The 10th-seeded Tunisian tennis player added that for this to happen, she must be able to control her emotions.

In 2022, Ons Jabeur lost in the title match to Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan), and last year she fell in the final to Marketa Vondrousova (Czech Republic).

“If I can reach a third straight final, it will be a dream come true for me”, said Ons Jabeur, 29, after her first-round victory over Moyuka Uchijima (Japan).

“I know I have the capacity to achieve it and I work on myself a lot. I think I can win this tournament. I try to control my emotions and I always tell myself that the court is the place where I feel the best. If I can dealing with that and not being so hard on myself when I’m not doing so well, that’s going to be a very big step forward for me”, concluded Ons Jabeur.
