Jessica Pegula qualified for the quarter-finals of the US Open 2022

The 8th-seeded American tennis player Jessica Pegula qualified for the quarter-finals of the US Open 2022 after defeating Petra Kvitova by 2-0 (6:3, 6:2) in 69 minutes match.

Jessica Pegula won the first set with three breaks against only one for her opponents. The second set was very similar and again the American won easily and thus qualified for the quarter-finals.

Jessica Pegula made 7 winners and only 13 unforced errors against 18 winners and 24 unforced errors for her opponent.

In the next round, Jessica Pegula will face the winner between the top-seeded Iga Swiatek and Jule Niemeier
