FC Tigres remains unbeaten in the recently started Mexican Liga MX Women

Women’s football team of U.A.N.L.- Tigres remains unbeaten in the recently started Mexican Liga MX Women. The champions from season 2020-2021 got an easy win with 4-0 as a visitor of Atlas. Hat-trick for the winners made Stephany Mayor (15′, 44′, 87′), while another one goal added Maria Sanchez (33′).

U.A.N.L.- Tigres was the better team during the whole match and 13 goal attempts and 7 shots on target. The good saves of the goalkeeper of Atlas, Ana Paz, saved the team from a bigger loss.

In the other matches of the round of Liga MX Women, Guadalajara Chivas took a hard win as a visitor of Juarez after turning the match from 1-0 to 1-2, climbing to second place in the standings.

Monterrey won versus Puebla with 2-0 after goals of Christina Burkenroad (19′) and an own goal of Samara Alcala (67′). The team of Monterrey is third in the standings.
