Klara Skriver Loessl, hailing from Denmark, is a remarkable athlete known for her prowess in sprints, hurdles, and particularly the pole vault. Her impressive skill set and numerous accolades solidify her status as one of the most promising young athletes in the country.

Born on September 26, 2002, Klara Skriver Loessl delved into the world of athletics at a young age, participating in various events before finding her true calling in sprints and the pole vault.

Her competitive journey took flight in 2016 when she achieved a commendable 5th position in the 100m at the Copenhagen Danish U16 Championships. Throughout the seasons that followed, Klara’s talent shone brightly as she secured an array of podium finishes, including gold in the pole vault and silver in the 100m hurdles. Notably, her achievements extended into the senior category, where she clinched a bronze medal in the 100m hurdles at the Odense Danish Championships.

The year 2018 further showcased Klara’s prowess, with an array of podium finishes across various competitions, including victories in the 100m and pole vault events. Her exceptional performances continued into 2019, marked by a gold medal in the pole vault at the Leiria ECCC U20 Group A.

In 2020, Klara Skriver Loessl, the Danish athlete, secured her second national senior medal by clinching the pole vault silver at the Odense Danish Indoor Championships. She also ventured into combined events for the first time, claiming the heptathlon bronze at the Kobenhavn Danish U20 Combined Events Championships. Furthermore, she exhibited her skills by winning the pole vault gold and the 60m silver at the Danish U20 Indoor Championships.

In the subsequent year, Klara Skriver Loessl continued to excel, earning another pole vault silver at the Arhus Danish Indoor Championships and a pole vault bronze at the Odense Danish Championships. Although she participated in the Tallinn European Athletics U20 Championships, she finished 9th in qualifications and did not advance to the finals. Similarly, her participation in the Nairobi World Athletics U20 Championships in the 100m hurdles did not yield a spot in the finals. Nonetheless, she managed to secure the 100m hurdles bronze at the Skararacet in Sweden.

Her remarkable achievements continued into 2022. During the indoor season, Klara Skriver Loessl achieved significant feats, including earning the 60m bronze at Arhus Vintersprint, the 60m hurdles silver at the Randers Indoor, and the 60m hurdles bronze at the Pallasspelen. Additionally, she secured the pole vault bronze at the Skive Danish Indoor Championships. As the outdoor season unfolded, she seized the 100m silver at the Sparta Copenhagen Games, alongside the 100m hurdles gold and the 100m silver at the Copenhagen Athletics Festival. In pole vault, she claimed the gold at the Sparta Copenhagen Games and the bronze at the Skararacet. While competing at the Espoo Motonet GP and Copenhagen Athletics Games, she narrowly missed securing any medals.

In 2023, Klara Skriver Loessl opted out of the indoor season and focused solely on sprints and hurdles during the outdoor season. She finished 5th at the Aalborg Danish Championships and 8th at the Copenhagen Athletics Games in the 100m event. Nonetheless, she contributed to her team’s success by securing the 4x100m relay silver at the Chorzow European Athletics Team Championships Second Division. By the end of the season, she earned the bronze at the Folksam Grand Prix Malmo.

Klara Skriver Loessl made another wonderful season in 2024, winning the 100m gold at the WA State Championships and Strive Program D, both in Perth, Australia. She continued her participation in Australia, winning the bronze at the Canberra Track Classic and finishing 7th in the 4x100m relay at the World Athletics Relays Bahamas 24, before returning to Sweden and competing at the Malmo Nordic Senior Championships, where finished 6th in 4x100m relay. in the same event, she competed at the Roma European Athletics Championships but did not qualify for the finals. Locally, Klara Skriver Loessl earned the 100m bronze at the Hvidovre Danish Championships.
