Linda Noskova is a Czech tennis player, who has collected six singles titles and one doubles title in the ITF. She has a career-high WTA singles ranking of No 50, reached on February 6, 2023, and is the youngest player in the Top 100.
Linda Noskova was born on November 17, 2004, in Vsetin, Czech Republic. From an early age, she showed signs of becoming a promising tennis player. As a junior, she peaked at world No 5 in the rankings, as she won the 2021 French Open in the girls’ singles event. She also won the titles at the Euroregion Nisa Cup and Moser Cup in 2016, the Oberpullendorf Europe Junior Tour, ETC Cup, and Tk Milten in 2017, as well as European Junior Championships U14 and TIM Essonne in 2018.
Linda Noskova made her professional debut in 2018 at the $15,000 W15 Lousada (Portugal), reaching the semi-finals. By the end of the season, she had another semi-final at the $15,000 W15 Milovice (Czech Republic).
In 2020, Linda Noskova debuted at the WTA 125 tournament at the Prague Open, losing in the first round. She also reached the quarter-finals of the Junior French Open / Roland Garros.
Linda Noskova played her first ITF final in 2021 at the $15,000 W15 Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), but lost in three sets to Shalimar Talbi. However, in March, she won her first ITF title at the $15,000 W15 Bratislava (Slovakia). Meanwhile, she won the title at the Junior French Open / Roland Garros and reached the semi-finals of the J300 Klosters \ European Junior Championships. Professionally she won the title at the $60,000 W60 Prerov (Czech Republic) and $25,000 W25 Milovice (Czech Republic).
In 2022, Linda Noskova won her most prestigious title so far at the $100,000 W100 Versmold (Germany). She also triumphed at the $60,000 W60 Croissy-Beaubourg (France), but also debuted in the Grand Slam main scheme, playing at the French Open / Roland Garros and the US Open. She also reached the semi-finals of the WTA 125 Makarska Open 125 and WTA 250 Livesport Prague Open, as well as the second round of the WTA 250 Tallinn Open.
Linda Noskova started perfectly in 2023 reason, reaching in the final of the WTA 500 Adelaide International, but lost to Aryna Sabalenka in a straight set.
