Cori Coco Gauff (USA) and Maria Sakkari (Greece) will play in the second semifinal of the WTA 1000 Indian Wells Open tennis tournament.

In the quarterfinals, the third-seeded Cori Coco Gauff prevailed relatively easily by 2-0 (6:4, 6:3) over Yue Yuan (China) in 1:36 hours of play.
