British Olympics athlete Jodie Williams announced retirement at 31

British Olympics athlete Jodie Williams has announced that she is ending her athletics career. Jodie Williams, 31, has competed in three Olympics and won a bronze medal with Great Britain in the 4x400m relay at the Paris Games this summer.

Her individual major forum honors include silver in the 200m at the 2014 Zurich European Outdoor Championships and bronze in the 400m at the 2021 Torun Indoor European Championships.

Jodie Williams began with her first major successes in the girls’ event, where she has world titles in the cadets and girls’ 100m, as well as gold in the junior 200m. She is also the European champion in the girls’ 100m and 200m, as well as the girls’ under-20 200m.

Jodie Williams is the sixth fastest woman in Great Britain’s history with her 22.46sec time in winning European silver in 2014.

The 31-year-old British athlete last individual honor was bronze in the 400m at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
