The Czech tennis player reached the second round after beating Daria Saville (Australia) by 2-0 (6:1, 7:6) in an hour and 35 minutes of play.

The next opponent of Barbora Krejcikova will be Harriet Dart (Great Britain), who defeated Moyuka Uchijima (Japan) by 2-0 (6:3, 6:3).

The fifth-seeded Elise Mertens (Belgium) eliminated Caroline Wozniacki (Denmark), who participated with the “wild card”, after 2-0 (6:4, 6:1).
