Aryna Sabalenka easily advanced to the third round of the US Open

Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) easily advanced to the third round of the US Open tennis championship, defeating Britain’s Jodie Burrage by 2-0 (6:3, 6:2). The Australian Open champion converted three of her four breakpoints during the 74-minute match.

Ekaterina Alexandrova (Russia) defeated Lesia Tsurenko (Ukraine) by 2-0 (6:1, 6:3). Another Russian also continues in the third round of the US Open – Liudmila Samsonova, who eliminated Tamara Korpatsch (Germany) by 2-0 (6:3, 6:3).
