Aryna Sabalenka claimed her 12th straight Grand Slam win to reach the semi-finals of the Roland Garros

Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka claimed her 12th straight Grand Slam win this year after defeating Elina Svitolina (Ukraine) by 2-0 (6:4, 6:4) in the quarter-finals of the French Open.

Aryna Sabalenka, who triumphed at the Australian Open in January, played a strong match against the extremely motivated Ukrainian tennis player, who definitely received the crowd’s support.

Elina Svitolina, who became a mother eight months ago, started strongly, winning her serves without much difficulty until 4:4, when world’s No 2 Aryna Sabalenka made the first break of the match with a flawless forehand backhand. That break was enough for the Belarusian tennis player to win the first set.

Elina Svitolina reached her first break of the match to take a 2:0 game lead in the second set, but Aryna Sabalenka responded with four games in a row.
