Jessica Pegula advanced to the third round of the US Open

The sixth-seeded Jessica Pegula advanced to the third round of the US Open. In an all-American clash, Jessica Pegula won by 2-0 (7:6, 6:3) over Sofia Kenin and for the fifth consecutive year will play at the Round of 32 in the tournament.
